This plugin is available for all plans.
This plugin allows administrators to change the language of the default text of an Omeka.net website. The plugin will not change the language of content already in your site.
Go to plugins page on admin dashboard and scroll to the Locale plugin. Click the install button, then click activate.
To select a language, click the Configure button for the Locale plugin on the Plugins page of the administrative dashboard of your Omeka.net site. Select your preferred language from the drop-down menu.
Click save changes and the predefined text on your administrative dashboard and public site will be translated into the language you selected. Note that this includes all of the navigation on the admin side, so be sure that you either understand the language you select or are sufficiently familiar with the Omeka admin dashboard to reset to your native language if necessary.
Once the language for the site has been changed, it will affect the drop-down menu for Locale as well as other administrative text. For example, if you have have changed the language from English to French, the list will display Anglais and Francais instead of English and French.
