Web Services Shortcodes

This plugin is available to accounts with Silver, Gold, and Platinum plans.

The Web Services Shortcodes plugin allows you to embed content on Omeka.net Simple Pages. Sites such as viewshare.org offer embded scripts which, for security reasons, cannot be used on Omeka.net. However, you can now utilize some of these services through the Web Services Shortcode Plugin.

Omeka.net currently supports the following services:

Viewshare

The shortcode to embed a view from Viewshare is [viewshare].

Options

url

The only option is url, and it is required. Simply enter the url of the viewshare you would like to embed.

For example:

To embed the viewshare located at

http://viewshare.org/views/DOVE/desegregation-of-virginia-education-dove/

you would enter:

[viewshare url=http://viewshare.org/views/DOVE/desegregation-of-virginia-education-dove/]
